What is a maternity photoshoot?
If this your first time having a baby or a photoshoot, a maternity photoshoot is a professional photo session specifically designed to capture the beauty of pregnancy. It’s an opportunity to capture the love, excitement and anticipation of your journey into motherhood. We specialise in creating a comfortable and supportive environment ensuring that every mother feels cherished and radiant during this precious time. We advise doing this between 35-40 weeks pregnancy to get the best possible results!

My name is Selina and I am the owner and photographer for Selina's Studios
As a family photographer, I aim to ensure you feel comfortable and enjoy the photo shoot. Unlike other photographers, the photoshoot experience is as necessary as the images you receive afterwards.
I know this type of photoshoot can be tough for some mums-to-be. Being pregnant can make you feel less confident. But remember, you are beautiful and glowing, and we'll capture gorgeous images of mum and bump.

Want to feel extra special on the day? We have make-up artists and hair stylists available to book for the day, they will personally take their time to understand your vision for the photoshoot and get you glam and photo ready before the photoshoot.

Maternity Photoshoot Dress
If you choose packages ‘Luxury’ or ‘All Inclusive’ we will provide an extensive wardrobe of bespoke maternity dresses for you to choose from. You are welcome to pop in to view the dresses, or you can ask in the contact form to see photos of the dresses we have in the studio. Alternatively if you want more casual photos, such as jeans, shirt or underwear you are welcome to bring those, we can chat before your photoshoot to make sure the colours and tones are all photo ready. After the Maternity Photoshoot - Your Photographs
Unlike other photographers, I want you to feel in control on your images and allowing you to view your images straight after the photoshoot and choose which high quality digital images you want to receive. I always take more photos during the shoot than necessary, so there is a wide variety of poses, backgrounds, outfits for you to decide what you like the best.

Welcome Area
When entering the studio you are welcomed by a large open space where I will greet you and talk about the desired images you are looking for. We have a large comfortable sofa with refreshments to relax and refresh before and during and after photoshoots. We have free WIFI for you to use during your visit.

We are based in Plymouth, Devon. Our studio is located on Mutley Plain, opposite the baptist church. There is parking available opposite, 5 minute walk with 2 hours free parking.
