Your Photoshoot Experience at Selina's Studios

Tailored to Your Pole Artistry

Before your photoshoot, Selina will have a private consultation to understand your vision and ideas for the shoot, whether you are having a solo or group Pole Dancing photo shoot. We take into account lighting, styling, angles and posing.

Bringing Your Vision to Life

We can also include videography in your package. On the day, we will require your chosen choreography to be demonstrated to the videographer, Selina. You can work together to create a video that shows off the best dance moves. The choice of music is also up to you. We’ll play your chosen music during the video shoot and use it when edited into a short video clip for you to keep or share with others.

Here's a video for one we created for one of our Pole Dancing clients.

Comfort and Enjoyment First

We want to ensure that your photoshoot is comfortable and enjoyable. We have two changing rooms, one built into the Cove studio for quick private outfit changes and the other with larger space and a beauty table for getting ready before your dance photoshoot.

The photography studio offers personalised photo sessions that celebrate the individuality and skill of each dancer. Whether you're a seasoned pole dancer or just starting, Selina's Studios provides a welcoming and supportive environment where you can shine in front of the camera.

Frequently Answered Questions

Q: Do I need to be an experienced pole dancer to book a photoshoot at Selina's Studios?

A: Absolutely not! At Selina's Studios, we welcome dancers of all levels, from beginners to seasoned professionals. We aim to celebrate the individuality and skill of each dancer, providing a supportive environment where you can confidently shine in front of the camera. Our experienced team will work with you to capture your unique style and grace, regardless of your experience level.

Q: What should I wear for my pole dance photoshoot?

A: While there are no strict rules regarding attire, we recommend selecting something that complements your style without being restrictive. Remember to bring your own pole grip, as this will be necessary for your session. For inspiration, check out our Pinterest board, featuring a collection of pole-wear outfits and photo-shoot ideas. Choose an outfit that makes you feel confident, sexy, and comfortable.

Q: How can I prepare for my photoshoot at The Cove?

A: Preparation is key to a successful photoshoot. Before your session, Selina will have a private consultation with you to understand your vision and ideas. Think about the poses, styles, and overall mood you want to capture. On the day of the shoot, we suggest coming with your hair and makeup ready, but our studio also provides changing rooms and a beauty table for last-minute touch-ups. Ensure you're comfortable with your choreography, especially if videography is included in your package, and remember to bring any unique props or outfits you'd like to use. Selina will guide you through the rest, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

Q: Can I bring someone with me to the photoshoot for support?

A: Yes, you're welcome to bring a friend or family member for support during your photoshoot. We understand that having someone familiar can help you feel more comfortable and confident in front of the camera. Please let us know how many people will be accompanying you so we can accommodate them while ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.

Q: How long does a typical pole dance photoshoot last?

A: A pole dance photoshoot duration at Selina's Studios varies depending on your chosen package. Our standard sessions typically last between 1 and 2 hours, but we also offer extended sessions for those who want to capture a broader range of poses and outfits. During your initial consultation, we'll discuss your vision and recommend a timeframe that will allow us to bring your ideas to life without feeling rushed.

Q3: Are there any age restrictions for booking a photoshoot?

A3: Participants must be 18 or older to book a pole dance photoshoot at Selina's Studios. This policy ensures that all our clients have the autonomy to make decisions regarding their photoshoots and are legally recognised as adults. For younger dancers interested in aerial or dance photography, a parent or guardian must be present during the consultation process, and the photoshoot and consent forms will need to be signed.
